Temple BKB was founded in 1990 to meet the spiritual and social needs of the residents of Sun City Summerlin, a new senior community. If you are 50 years old or older we are what you are looking for. We know you will feel comfortable with our Senior congregants and you do not need to be a resident of Sun City.
Shabbat services are held every second and fourth Friday at 6:30pm in the Desert Vista Community Center, 10360 Sun City Boulevard. After services we have a special Oneg Shabbat where you can meet others who may be from your part of the country; you may meet old friends and make new friends.
We have a Sisterhood, Men’s Club and Singles Group. If you are a member of BKB you do not have to pay dues to belong to any of these groups.
We Celebrate Passover with a beautiful Seder, we have a Purim Party where all our congregants dance and sing and get dressed up, our High Holy Days are outstanding. Moreh Alan G. Spector, our Spiritual Leader, Cantor Marla Goldberg and Tim Cooper, Music Director are highly respected professionals and the Choir performs at every Shabbat Service and the High Holy Days. We start at 6:30 P.M. and meet at Sun City Desert Vista Community Center,.
